Bio-Gest is an effective broad-spectrum digestive enzyme combination assisting in effective digestion.

Bio-Gest contains betaine HCL, pepsin, pancreatin and ox bile. Bio-Gest does NOT contain lactose which is commonly found in pancreatic enzyme products.

Pancreatin is a combination of pancreatic enzymes that are normally produced naturally in the body that help to digest fats, starch and protein. There are three classes of digestive enzymes: proteolytic enzymes needed to digest protein, lipases needed to digest fat and amylases needed to digest carbohydrates.

Pepsin is an enzyme produced in the mucosal lining of the stomach that acts to degrade protein.

Dosage: 1-2 capsules with each meal or as directed by a healthcare professional.

Betaine Hydrochloride: 240 mg
Glutamic Acid Hydrochloride: 240 mg
Ox Bile concentrate: 40 mg
Pure Pancreatin: 70 mg
Pure Pepsin [1:16000 minimum]: 35 mg

Contraindications: Consult a healthcare professional before use if pregnant or lactating. Do NOT use if there is a prior history of or a current peptic or duodenal ulcer. If discomfort in the stomach occurs after administration, discontinue use and consult your healthcare practitioner.
