Liquorice Plus provides a combination of herbal adaptogens designed to support healthy adrenal and immune function. This product may help to improve headaches, low sex drive, anxiety, moodiness, swollen breasts, water retention, PMS, blood sugar control and the ability to balance hormones. 

One of the primary compounds in liquorice roots is glycyrrhizin, a substance that has a molecular structure similar to corticosteroids. As such, liquorice root aids in hypoadrenalism by partially blocking the enzyme that converts cortisol to cortisone thus sparing cortisol.

Liquorice Plus combines Ayurvedic adaptogens such as Liquorice, Ashwagandha and Rehmannia which have a long history of use in supporting energy levels, providing excellent support for those who are run-down, or ‘burned-out’.

Dosage: 2 tablets one-two times daily or as directed by a healthcare professional.

Ingredients: Each Tablet Typically Contains:
Liquorice Root Extract (glycyrrhiza glabra) [standardised to 25% (75 mg) of glycyrrhizic acid]: 300 mg
Ashwagandha Root 5:1 Extract (Withania somnifera) (containing withanolides): 50 mg
A 4:1* herbal extract blend of: Rehmannia Root (Rehmannia glutinosa) Chinese Yam Root (Dioscorea oppositifolia)
Tableted with: Cellulose, Croscarmellose sodium, Microcrystalline cellulose, Modified cellulose coating, Silica, Stearic acid.
*Equivalent to 3000 mg raw, dried, unprocessed herbs

Contraindications: Do NOT exceed 600 mg of glycyrrhizic acid daily. Extended use at these levels may elevate blood pressure. If Hypertensive, consult a healthcare professional before use. Not recommended if pregnant or lactating.
